We love our land
On this small family-owned farm, we make our own wine, olive oil, honey and vegetables following the methods of organic farming. For the past eight years we have always concentrated on the quality of our produce, using only low-impact gardening products.
As is typical of the Chianti region, our red wine is make from a selection of grapes, namely Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia. A wise and careful blend of these grapes, grown on the rich soil of the Chianti hills, gives the wine strength and balance bringing out delightful smells and flavours. Part of this wine is kept in wooden barrels to rest for a longer period of time in order to enhance the organic qualities of this product.
The olive trees are subjected to the same tender and loving care. The picking is done exclusively by hand and the olives are then immediately cold-pressed to preserve the unique taste of the true extra-virgin olive oil of Tuscany. This oil is an ingredient of the Mediterranean cuisine for which there is no substitute, and it is the perfect condiment to dress the delicious vegetables of our garden.
The vegetables produced by organic methods, are used for our family use and are available for free, according to quantity, for guests who want to enjoy produce grown according to nature.
